Announcing New Board Chair

It’s a new year and we’ve got new leadership on our Board of Directors!

Our longtime Board Chair, State Representative Jessie Daniels, is transitioning over to our Advisory Board. We’re so grateful for her years of service and leadership on the board and are excited to continue working with her in her new role.

We’re thrilled to announce that the new Chair of the Board of Directors is Taylor Holden.

In addition to being Missy Elliott’s biggest fan, Taylor is the Development Director for New Era Colorado, one of the largest, most effective young voter mobilization organizations in the country, and is a Truman National Security Project Political Partner. Before joining New Era, she was the Executive Director of the Dallas County Democratic Party, a Regional Field Director for President Obama’s reelection campaign, and she’s spent thousands of hours organizing communities in support of issues and candidates up and down the ballot. She’s got a deep love for driving the long-term strategic capacity building that helps organizations and campaigns thrive, she’s passionate about voting rights and reproductive justice (and is down to chat about either over an IPA anytime), and she can’t wait to play her part in building Colorado’s bench of progressive women who are ready to run and lead.

Got questions for her? Know any exceptional women who are the voice their community needs? Get in touch with her at taylor@emergeco.org.
